Since in most cases it has no sense to cache data stored in the local file system (maybe in mem) I intuitively think caching is a PM related issue, but then again I might be wrong.


I could imagine that it makes sense in most cases if high-performance is required, but on the other hand one could also start with one PM and if it turns out to be
helpful for other PMs as well move it to Jackrabbit itself at some later stage
