hi guys, just my $0.02:
with respect to the "jcr repository domain" identity of a node the repository uses a combination of path and uuid, in a fashion that is described in detail in the spec. this identification is supposed to be portable between repositories and where desired universally unique. with respect to any "repository external" identification of a node i would also suggest to simply add properties (maybe in the form of mixins) as required. regards, david
