Hello,

I have only a small question/precision to ask so i cut a lot of the original message.

Ok,

ORM PM:
--------------
pro: - i assume it would scale better - transactional

con:
- very complex deployment
- network transport overhead?
- considerably slower than Object PM

I just want to know if you guess this fact or if you have done some benchmarks ? In my "subjectives" tests for using Magnolia. a CMS which use Jackrabbit, with a db persistent manager (OJB and Hibernate), i had the feeling that the creation of the contents was a lot quicker with db persistence than with the filesystem persistence (which is the object persistence or i'm wrong?).

cheers
stefan

Thanks, have a good day,
