Found uncommitted redo log. Applying changes now...

I am getting the warning

MultiIndex: "Found uncommitted redo log. Applying changes now..."
on each run of my unit tests.  I am guessing I am somehow neglecting  
to close something somewhere.

any clues welcomed.
