i work for the Open Source Applications Foundation (OSAF) on our Cosmo
project, an open source sharing server that uses Jackrabbit as its data
store and the jcr-server subproject to provide WebDAV and CalDAV access
to the server. you can find more info on Cosmo at

i'm looking forward to working with Angela on jcr-server and potentially
on other parts of Jackrabbit as well. for example, i've got simple
homebrewed tools for namespace and nodetype registration and data import
(and soon a maven plugin wrapper) that might be of interest.
