Which Subversion URL did you check out before running maven? The main Jackrabbit source tree was recently moved one
level deeper into the Subversion URL http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/jackrabbit/trunk/jackrabbit.
I used this url the day before. Your're right, I have to start the build here.
But it doesn't succeed in this directory neither. Now I get followin error:

Are you using JDK 1.5 to build jackrabbit? I think I saw the build failing when attempting to build
it with JDK 1.5. My quick fix for this was to use a JDK prior to 1.5 and it worked.
