Hi, I"m new at Jacoco, but I had to learn it for work.
I think is a really great tool, but when I 'google-d' how to learn it, most of the articles that come up were from around 2012. So I want to make a nice online course on it. I'll see if they will put it on Udemy. What do you think should be included in it? What noob questions would you like to be addressed? (I will probably direct people to the FAQ located here, but can go into depth on some of the more common questions.) Below is an ultra-quick, rough-draft outline of the course I am envisioning. I'm still learning more about Jacoco, so if you have any *suggestions about things people should know about Jacoco* (version differences, important tips, etc.) please let me know. 1. Nice, practical tool a. Been around a while (tried and true) b. but a bit of playing around with it to get it to work. c. Much of the online documentation I found is from 2012. 2. Runs behind the scenes a. Inserts to jvm b. Works well with CI tools c. Generates Reports 3. Has an active community a. Has Active User Group b. Has Active CodeBase 4. Show Sample App a. Show App b.
