That would make now 5 rules, only for vim - how much more does this tool
generate/need? Doesn't scale. I'll rather remove the other two rules
again and ask people to resolve such issues locally.

@all vim users, please make use of $HOME/.config/git/ignore! See also
man gitignore.
You are an Emacs user, I guess? ;-) Anyway, this makes sense. Thanks for the hint - I got used to put IDE/editor settings in .gitignore.
