By the point our SOF driver code reaches point (1) we already need the
jailhouse hypervisor to already
have been setup and the inmate enabled.
I still don't get why that must be the case. Why can't Jailhouse be
enabled later?
Anyway - You could have both as kernel modules: snd-sof and jailhouse,
and first enable jailhouse, and after that loading snd-sof.

So, we somehow need to be able to call into Jailhouse API from within
the kernel (or a linux kernel module).
