Since I'm still waiting on access to the sandbox, I placed a new build of
the DBCP, Pool, Collections and JOCL packages at
http://www.webappcabaret.com/rwald/commons. The major changes are (a) I
repackaged the collections framework as org.apache.commons.collections and
(b) I added status.html files following Craig's example from BeanUtils. The
status files list some action items if anyone would like to help.

I'll try to put together expanding installation/use instructions this
weekend if time permits. If anyone would like to volunteer to document how
to integrate the DBCP with some of the other Jakarta frameworks, I'll offer
whatever support I can.

Regarding sandbox access, I don't yet have an account at Apache, although
I'm listed as a committer in the Jakarta-Commons charter. Who do I need to
ask to get my account set up?

Since there doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion on this (short of the
packaging for the collections package), I'll probably call for a vote (and
submit the real proposals) early next week. It seemed like there was some
interest in Collections. Anyone want to volunteer code from some of the
existing projects?

Have a nice weekend,

 - Rod
