I think committer status for Jakarta-Commons should be only asked for,
Not voted, in case the person it's already committer in another Jakarta
project.. The only voted individuals should those from outer space and
not already committers in any Jakarta project..
So for me, to lower the entry barriers for committers in any Jakarta
project it's definitely a goal, and in the particular case of commons
more justified than ever...
How many more merits ( this is the sense of the vote i think ) needs any
Jakarta committer to be a committer of Commons? none i think, only the
interest on use/develop some component should needed..
So your method to give JVZ committers status on commons is perfectly
valid, logical and appropiate to me..
Wellcome aboard , Jason....
