As I'm integrating the sources you submitted ("diff" files are a lot more
useful for this than complete replacements, by the way), it struck me that
we might want to call these "mapped" properties rather than "string
keyed" properties.  Besides being shorter to type, it also creates the
correct idea that the bean implementor is probably doing some sort of Map
implementation underneath.
