DBCP is derived from a code base we've been using in production for a
high-traffic, database intensive application for about a year now. It is
possible that a problem or two may have been introduced in the transition to
the current DBCP, but it has been tested as well. I am not aware of any
issues with the current code base. I suspect you will find few if any
problems, and any problems found should be readily correctable.

What's standing between the current DBCP and a 1.0 release?

* (Possibly) revised configuration (using digester? breaking JOCL into a
separate project?)
* Documentation
* A 1.0 release of Pool (which is also waiting on configuration and
documentation)
