Thanks for the feedback.  Your points are quite valid, and for the most
part, I would have to agree.

However, some small voice in the back of my head says that there were a
few cases where the interface conflict was obtrusive.  But I can't
remember right now what the circumstances were.  Let me try to fish out
where those instances are and see if I was missing something obvious.

So for now, ignore the submission.
