Issue 38: influence of bootloader on samples http://code.google.com/p/jallib/issues/detail?id=38
Comment #2 by sebastien.lelong: To be accurate, and IIUC: the hello world, as other samples, may failed when using tinybl *without* specifying -long-start option to the compiler. It works when you use the option, and it is my understanding that you *must* use this when using a bootloader. For me (and as you may have guessed, since we discuss this about my 16f88 not blinking), this is *not* a bug, and I'm not in favor in adding such a pragma to samples. Yes, putting such instruction within samples will prevent users from forgetting -long-start option (starting with me :)), and strictly code speaking, there's only one instruction more, so not a big deal. But conceptually speaking, you'll put information in the sample which have nothing to do with the sample itself. For me, it's noise... -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
