Comment #2 on issue 49 by robhamerling: register naming in pic_data_eeprom
library for 16f916, 16f690 and others
http://code.google.com/p/jallib/issues/detail?id=49
Yes, that is a possibility. But I think I have a better solution. I could
not find
any functional differences for those registers as far as EEPROM handling is
concerned, so I added a construction like:
if (defined(EEDATA) == TRUE) then
EEDATA = data
elsif (defined(EEDAT) == TRUE) then
EEDAT = data
elsif (defined(EEDATL) == TRUE) then
EEDATL = data
end if
and a similar construction for EEADRL.
This makes the pic_data_eeprom libary more universal and now
also 'deviating' PICS
are supported. I just tested with success a 16F690.
BTW Initially I had also an else-part in the clause, like:
else
pragma error -- PIC not supported
to catch PICs which don't have EEPROM at all. But compile fails already
earlier on a
non existing EECON1 for these PICs. So I removed the else.
