Hi guys,

I've built a test board for 64-pins devices on Vero board. At this
moment I have only a 18F6310 in TQFP housing, which I mounted on a
TQFP->DIP conversion PCB (see Wouter's shop : PCB-09). So I can use
this setup for other 64-bits TQFP PICs by exchanging populated PCB-09s.

Since these PICs have so many pins I have given it an 8-bits LCD
interface. There was no 8-bits lcd library, so I took the
lcd_hd44780_4.jal to make an 8-bits version: lcd_hd44780_8.jal.

I have also made a sample program for the 18F6310 with 8-bits LCD interface.

Both work fine and have been added to our collection.

The 4-bits LCD library works as well for this setup, although it will be
marginally slower (I have not measured it yet)!

Regards, Rob.
