Hello, Just uploaded some schematic and pcb’s for serial lcd. To keep the pcb small and single sided I made 2 separate pcb’s for hd44780, one with a 1x16 connector and one with a 2x8 connector (working on dog- m) . Also removed the own stabilized power option. This al is necessary to get an easy to make small pcb with low amount off wire bridges (via’s). When ever you want an universal more professional pcb, it must be double sided with ,With of course good to handle, SMT components and if we want, own stabilized power and crystal for stable high bautrate.
I have added 2 pcd’s and 2 schematics in there own separated pdf’s and one pdf called “all_in_one_2x8.pdf”. Its possible to create one pdf file like “all_in_one_2x8.pdf” with all pcb options and there schematic inside. But as you can see the quality is in this case some what less than separate files (pcd pads are not all open, for centering your drill, and the schematic is not in color). If you all think its good enough than I think one file is nicer and better to handle than 6 to 8 separate files. Do we have the jal logo, en if so, may I, and shall I try to add to the pdf ? If you print for testing please make shore that in acrobat you set “page scaling” on “none”. Please let me know if its ok this way.
