An intermediate/temporary solution is to indent JSON file which needs to be manually edited (namely pinmap and adc_pcfg), and let the others unindeted, as they currently are. Since you neither use pinmap nor adc_pcfg, your parser will still work. Yet parsing an indented JSON file needs to be considered IMO.
