Hi Joep,
I think it is wortwhile adding it to SVN, so I can do similar test for 
PIC18F devices,
and we can re-checked it in the future, if new compiler versions are 
released
(which can effect the timing if  code generation is changed)

I wrote some code to measure the duration of delays (and hacked the
serial lib to meet my requirements for this). I don't think we will
re-use this often, but we might. Would it be worth while to put this
somewhere in a directory or is it too specific?
