Hi guys, Here's a link showing my current attempts to automate documentation publishing to the website:
http://justanotherlanguage.org/content/tutorial-book There are still issues, a lot to say, but basically, the idea is to: 1. let a bot monitors directory containing DITA files 2. if a change occur, *and* if DITA file is in a TOPUBLISH file, then trigger a publish 3. this compiles DITA file, and build a mail with specific commands, and send email to a specific address 4. Drupal (our website), regularly checks this address 5. when a new email arrives, it process it and create page from this email (contrib/3rdparty module mailhandler/mailsave) 6. then users/reviewers validate the content, put the page on a menu or a book. Content is public and available for visitors. For now, I have 3, 4 and 5 bullet point (I still need to fine-tune updates). 1 and 2 will be easy. 6 will be hard to automate... I'll post a JAPP documentation later, explaining the whole process. BTW, JAPP stands for Jallib Automated Publishing Process....... Cheers, Seb PS: don't expect these pages to always work, this is still testing PPS: this is quiet here, but careful with quiet bushes, there's always plenty of things happening in there... -- Sébastien Lelong http://www.sirloon.net http://sirbot.org --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "jallib" group.
