Hi Albert,
I see it as a task of every contributor to do some sort of regression
test. As far as the device files are considered I do it in 2 stages:
1. validate all device files and compile all blink samples
2. compile all samples (released or not)
This time I was so focused on solving the _pic_accum issue that I forgot
stage2 before committing the new device files... (I don't promise it
won't happen again!)
Regards, Rob.

Thanks for looking into the issue, indeed not all samples are
affected.
Maybe Seb can extend jallib.py to perform an addtional check
(i.e. before generating the samples, check if all existing samples
(under svn) do compile)
So the sample file(s) can act as kind of a regression unittest

Seems like revision 1675 breaks a lot of code because _ind0 register
is not define anymore, you can check it by generating the samples and
you'll see that a lot of samples won't compile anymore.
Believe it or not I was about to compile all samples. So far I compiled
only the blink samples, which didn't surface this bug.
I'll have a look!
