I have followed this thread only superficially, so I don't have a strong opinion about progress and results. But it seems that I'm 'wanted' for something. Please enlighten me. I suppose it has something to do with device files for Atmels. I've never done any programming for these myself, but I have a few chips here like ATtiny2313 at ATmega8535 and a simple Ponyprog interface...
