It could be combined with my idea of a Fuses/Pragma/Include new/change chip wizard where you specify what you want and desired CPU and then get all the correct Fuse settings for crystal, PLL , internal clock, USB, WDT, code protection, Brownout etc that vary so much such that you can't simply change include file moving from one chip to another.
