> And you've got nothing prepared from home? (some routines already made, some > mechanics already connected together etc...) Of course you have stuff prepared. But there is little info on what the exercises will be. Just some hints in general terms like 'your robot is best between 10 and 30 cm, and should not exceed 55 cm', 'detecting lines will be of little use', 'we'll use soda cans and balls', 'an additional motor or sensor is not required to participate, but will help to gather more points'.
It turned out that one of the challenges was to return balls. So the motor could be used to create a gripper and software was changed to control the gripper. But again: really fun. I am looking forward to the next teambuildersday in September. The guy on the right on this picture: http://www.robotmc.org/robotmc_12jun2010/album/slides/IMG_0039a.html is the brain behind this buildersday and the only one who knows what we're going to do. He told us it has something to do with the two bridges shown and he'll also use a soda can... Joep -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "jallib" group.
