Hi guys,

I'm trying to get a simple 4x3 numeric keyboard to work with the Jallib keyboard library. I used a PIC8f26j11 at 32 MHz (8MHz INTOC + 4 * PLL). I could get the first and third column working OK, but the keys of the second column gave the values of the third column. After some checking and rechecking hardware and docs I could not find a circuit or programming (constant definition) error...

My intuition said it might be a timing problem. So I selected a lower OSC frequency: 8 MHz (disabled PLL). This made the second column work normally, except that '8' gave an 'invalid' code (17). Then I reduced the OSC freq further to 4 MHz and now also the '8' gives the correct value.

Is this 4 MHz a limitation of the library (undocumented)?
Anyone having similar experiences?
Could it have to do with the specific PIC, or the 3.3V operating voltage?
Should I open an issue for this?

Regards, Rob.
