It seems SST serial flash (say SST25VF010A, 1Mb for $0.38 volume pricing,
vs. $0.96 for 23K256) is pin-compatible with 23K256. Except for
Write-Protection pin. I need to check this in datasheet to see if it's
optional.

I'll add it to my current design.
