It seems SST serial flash (say SST25VF010A, 1Mb for $0.38 volume pricing, vs. $0.96 for 23K256) is pin-compatible with 23K256. Except for Write-Protection pin. I need to check this in datasheet to see if it's optional.
I'll add it to my current design. Cheers, Seb 2011/4/21 Oliver Seitz <[email protected]> > > >Has anyone tried SST Serial Flash ?
