Hi Matt, First of all I have found the reason for the error. I am sorry, but it is realy stupid of me!!!!! When I read the comment in the example of Fat_32 lib, I did not understand what this was: "; setup 23k256 for external memory; setup chip select pin ALIAS sram_23k256_chip_select is pin_a1" The only thing I made of it, was that I had to connect the chip select of the SD card to "pin_a1". Today I saw that on the SD-setup routine you use also pin SS (like in de SD-lib example) and then it worked. But I must say: it only works with a SanDisk SD-card. Kingston & TDK does not work. Why I don't know, I think timing could be an issue??? One small (last question): what is the need for "setup 23k256 for external memory; setup chip select pin"?
