Do you? You can allways use fix-point numbers, like for voltage levels in
> millivolt or microvolt, and distances in millimeters, micrometers (metric)

Yes, sure, that's what I doing (struggling with casts...), that was just to
mention that, even if it can be done, it's not as transparent as is it was
taken care by the compiler...
