With all of the excellent work going on with "q", can anyone tell me why the
last downloadable jallib-pack on the Google-Code page is stuck at a "p"
revision dated June 2nd, please?
Hmmm .. you are complaining that no JalPack is available on the same day
that the 2.4q compiler was announced!?
It is our policy to have a few weeks between availability of a new new
compiler, library or device file(s) and the release of a new JalPack.
That allows proper testing by everybody (member of Jallib team nd
others) of many or all combinations of Jallib material and private
programs. When no serious issues arise in those weeks we assume that we
have a stable JalPack without unpleasant surprises.
In the meantime:
- Every weekend a 'bee' release is generated for those who cannot
wait more than one week for the 'official' release of new JalPack.
- Every individual file can be downloaded as soon as it is available
at GoogleCode. You may use SubVersion, your browser, whatever.
So everybody, seasoned user or beginner or something in between, can
choose to download the material which suites him best.
Pointers to the latest and greatest gratefully accepted and, as always, my
thanks go to everyone involved for creating and maintaining such a wonderful
resource.
Thanks.
Regards, Rob.
