The main purpose of Jallib is to avoid having "to invent the wheel again", so why don't you use the pic_data_eeprom library?
Apart from that, I (and I'm sure others) prefer to spend our free time on more productive things than debugging Assembler procedures for which there is a working JAL alternative in one of our libraries.
