I appreciate your effort, but it doesn't convince me at all that you will be able to obtain fuse_def settings once and forever. I've explained earlier why (by example). I think you didn't investigate the problem thoroughly enough. Since I don't believe in your 'solution' I won't spend any more time on this subject. I may change my mind when you prove otherwise with an alternative piece of code for the fuse-def part of my device files script.
