Today I found the solution to the SPI sniffer I was in need...
Shame on me... SHORT CABLES !!!
I was using a ribbon cable of about 30 cm from the equipment to the
Pickit 2 clone... a friend of mine after I presented the problem and
described the hardware told me: "... and you are reading a bunch of non
consistent data... right?"
I get shocked by his comment, then he told me the secret: make the
cables as short as possible; and I do, about 4 cm of cable in a
non-ribbon way read the data flawlessly...
Crosstalk - etc... shame on me, again...
I have the way to get the data, and I'm building a data bank to profile
to analyze it, for reverse engineer the CX-7925 dialect...
Hey, at the end of the day if it works ok, that will be a new jallib
library... I will keep you posted about the Yaesu FT-747 brain
transplant in the PIC way ... ;-)
Cheers...
