I vote for GitHub

For just one particular reason: github has not the ties of google code about Cuba-USA embargo...

just my 5 cents.

Cheers

Maybe better to have an open discussion about the required move of the
Jallib repository to Github (or another provider), because it involves
not only the owner(s) but also all other Jallib contributors and users.
So I copied a message of mine here.

Hi Seb,

Importing from Google Code isn't that easy, I got lots of errors, I've

While importing to github (or whatever), I would greatly appreciate if
you could retain me as author (not owner anymore) :) FWIW, my guthub
account is "sirloon". Thanks.

I've made an Github account for myself, created a repository (for
XWisp2), did a pull, modification and a push. Everything went fine as
far as I could see. Git is however a different approach than Subversion
with which I (we) have to get familiar. I found an online 'tutorial'
(and PDF-file) by Scott Chacon and Ben Straub which was helpful for me.
Another one is by Travis Swicegood, which is comparable.

It is not yet clear to me how owners/committers/contributors/others are
'organized', but hopefully this will become clear shortly.
We are not in a hurry and can follow your suggestion to wait a little
with the move of Jallib to Github.

Regards, Rob.
