Hi All,

I was able to (just by being reasonable about using the most recent jallib
master image, and installing the driver with driver signature enforcement
disabled) to get the 18f14k50_usb_serial.jal demo to compile and run ok on
the Microchip USB LPC demo board.

Code responds perfectly in terminal, logging in at the prompt when first
connected to COM9, and then echoing typed characters. The code size is
outstanding!

However, when I build with the -loader18 -no-fuse (I don't see any build
error), and attempt use the Microchip bootloader, my program does not
execute, just the bootloader. So I guess at least I am not overwriting my
bootloader, just not seeing the application run.

I've used the bootloader image that was in the jallib tree, and a new one
from the most recent MLA, floundering around to try something different.

Clearly I made need to have a PIC18 USB HID bootloader that activates with
a key-press, not just on power-up, or MCLR, but I just wanted to see if I
was doing/overlooking something silly. Usually the bootloaders that
activate on reset, wait a few seconds and them start the application, but
I'm not seeing that here.

Thanks in advance for the consideration of a reply.

Best,

R.
