I have integrated the provisional pps2 library with Seb's original pps library. The pps2 library is removed as well as the only sample with it (reason explained below). The new version of pps.jal supports besides pps groups 1 and 2 now also pps groups 4 and 5 (for the extended midrange 16fxxxx). The required constants PPS_4 and PPS_5 have been added to constants_jallib.jal.

To be able to use the pps feature of newly supported PICs groups the correct value of PPS_GROUP must be specified. The device files of the PICs of pps groups 1 and 2 contain the correct PPS_GROUP, but of the newly supported groups 4 and 5 the device files currently specify PPS_0 (meaning 'this PICs has no PPS'). This should be corrected as follows:
    PPS_4 : 16f1xxx without CMD0 register
PPS_5 : 16f1xxx with CMD0 register
You can edit your personal copy of the device file(s) or wait for new device files. I'm prepared to assist my successor with the adaptation of the pic2jal.py script to provide new device files with the correct PPS_GROUP specification for the involved PICs!

Regards, Rob.
