Hi Matt, On your schematic, charging and discharging time of the mosfet gate capacitor is different about twice. Combined with the differences in the on-off time switching charactheristics of the mosfets, this will have quite big effect at high speed. A stepper can work up to 10 KHz if it's properly switched.
