Hi Even, I normally do not use the debugger of the Pickit3 using ASM. I had done it once but that was with an older version of MPLABX and for a PIC that was already on the market for some time.
Not sure why it would not work anymore but I do know that Microchip does not support certain newer chips anymore with the Pickit3 so you need the SNAP programmer or the Pickit4 for newer chips. Kind regards, Rob ________________________________ Van: 'Evan Venn' via jallib <[email protected]> Verzonden: vrijdag 10 juli 2020 09:00 Aan: jallib <[email protected]> Onderwerp: [jallib] Re: [jallib/jallib] fed3da: Added device and sample files for 18f26q43, 18f46q... What is the best debugger to use to walk the ASM? I believe MPLAB-5.30 does not work correctly. I believe MPLAB-5.30 may work correctly. Hence, my ask. I believe MPLAB-5.40 does not support ASM.
