Hi Jos, As a side project I am making a PIC programmer that acts a COM port (on the USB) so it is controlled by ASCII Characters.
While implementing various programming algorithm I discovered that some older PICs do not erase when the supply voltage is lower than 5 Volt. The strange thing is that programming below 5 Volt for those PICs works but erasing not. I do not recall which PICs had this issue. Not sure if you are running into the same issue. Kind regards, Rob ________________________________ Van: [email protected] <[email protected]> namens vsurducan <[email protected]> Verzonden: woensdag 14 mei 2025 06:25 Aan: [email protected] <[email protected]> Onderwerp: Re: [jallib] Build Success on Jallib-bee It depends which pickit, which software and what programming mode (lvp or hvp) is used. When i program a program in Hex,the microchip is programmed flawlessly, but if i want to erase the chip, this is no longer possible, while that was not a problem before. What did I do wrong? Does anyone know an answer? Greetings Op zo 11 mei 2025 om 08:12 schreef Jallib Build <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>: Good day, I have finished a build of jallib-bee.
