ah - yes - installAnywhere may well be missing some dependencies. We need to take a look. I'd also like to make sure we are still happy re building linux packages for Debian et al. - we've accrued a number of additional libraries that may not all be available on free linux platforms.

I'll be in around 9.45.. talk at standup then.

Should have said - this was the Install Anywhere build.

The DAS thing probably just needed me to update my config file as per http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/pipermail/jalview-discuss/2015-May/001185.html

Just trying a spot of testing from home (Jalview development build, Windows 7 64-bit, Java 7).

The PDB fetcher gave

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:

com/sun/jersey/api/client/config/ClientConfig
at jalview.gui.PDBSearchPanel.txt_search_ActionPerformed(PDBSearchPanel.java:91)
   ....

Looks like a build dependency problem.

and then some odd behaviour (characters in the search field populated in reverse order) - which may just be a knock-on effect.

eww!

Also noticed no DAS providers listed again.

could be config (dasregistry is gone - HTTP errors) or missing JSON (also possible re above).

Jim.
