Suzanne has noticed that Jalview fails to open http://www.jalview.org/examples/exampleFile.jar (as used in some tutorials).
I've had a look and it appears to contain XML that doesn't match either jalview.xsd or jalviewJvV1.xsd: <jalview-model xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"; valid="true" xsi:type="java:jalview.binding.JalviewModel"> <jalview-model-sequence valid="true" JGroupCount="1" user-colours-count="0" JSeqCount="15" tree-count="1" viewport-count="1"> I'm puzzled because it looks like exampleFile.jar hasn't changed for some time (as you would expect).
