FYI I've updated the download page (at http://www.jalview.org/Download) to include instructions about installing via bioconda. I was also pleased to see that bioconda badges work with our drupal instance!
Our bioconda stats just passed 2000 downloads - I've not found anywhere to view these stats over time, and we don't appear to have any google analytics data from these launches, unfortunately, but the numbers are promising regardless. Suzanne, Geoff and I have been discussing updating jalview's website.
