Hi. Withstanding any fine tuning of URL config, Jalview's mailing list archives should always be public via http://www.jalview.org/pipermail/jalview-discuss/
There are issues - since mailman doesn't always honour the domain when generating links in content, but otherwise things are mostly working correctly. Jim.
