could you send me the output on the Jalview Console after you launch
Jalview ? (enable it from Tools->Java Console, then close and start
Jalview again).
There are no reported problems with accessing web services with Jalview
2.8.0b1. If nothing else, you could open the web services menu and hit
the 'reset' button to reset the JABA server settings.
