We recommend you export your alignment figures as 'EPS' files, since these are vector rather than image based diagrams that can be shown at any resolution. The PNG format renders alignments at the same resolution as they are displayed on screen - so to increase resolution you simply increase the font size (Format menu), but you might then have problems with setting the wrap columns correctly.
