Hi Michael, I got the connection to work by using the same path I would use to start Chimera in the Mac Terminal, as described here: <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/startup.html>
For example, I have Chimera-daily-cocoa.app on my Desktop, and I entered this in the JalView preferences: /Users/meng/Desktop/Chimera-daily-cocoa.app/Contents/MacOS/chimera I hope this helps, Elaine ---------- Elaine C.
