Mail not spooling out

OK -- I know I've been a pest lately, but thanks to the llist, I"m a lot closer.  I've written the m ailet, and figured out the reply logic, but when I send a reply, it gets queued into the outgoing spool repository.  It then just sits there.  I want to have James fire off and try to deliver the message over SMTP to the remote host.  It doesn't.  What's missing?
