Nah, there are no stupid questions, only stupid.... (JK) ;-) You can find the java source in cvs in the following location jakarta-avalon-cornerstone\src\java\org\apache\avalon\cornerstone\services\c onnection (Same cvs server credentials for anoncvs as jakarta-james)
I believe it gets the class file in the running server from the cornerstone-20010925.bar file in the lib dir of cvs, which ends up in dist/apps/james/blocks after a build. Hope that helps, Matt Pangaro Loki Technologies ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Weaver" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, October 11, 2001 4:56 PM Subject: Some stupid questions > > I'm looking at using James for a mail service with many thousands of > simultaneous SMTP connections. > > The java or class files for > avalon.cornerstone.services.connection.AbstractService and such are evading me; > I can't find that class in any .jar, .class or .java file in the whole CVS > tree.
