Sounds like a reasonable plan to me.  My peers have been requesting IMAP for
some time.  I have resisted because I like the elegance, simplicity, and 
light-weight
footprint of James ( compared to a full installation of iPlanet 
Messaging server, yikes! )
As soon as you have a minimal working set of IMAP functionality , I 
would be happy
to set up a test site at arielpartners.com
