I suspect, but can't prove :-( that clients that don't understand it would
render it as a text/plain dump of the whole message+headers.

It also (message/rfc822) works with a nice multipart device for list digests
in multipart/digest, where each mail from a list is attached as a
message/rfc822, so you can get the list mails as individual mails delivered
in a batch.

I'll make some experiments..
